Protocol Day
Protocol Day with Sue Cunningham
Saturday 23 November
We are very pleased to announce our Protocol Day.
The draw is now available.
Our Protocol tests are a great way to improve your skills, gain valuable exposure for horses, or try out the next level. These are run in 25-minute sessions;
Report to the judge’s car at your listed ride time.
You will ride the test you indicated on your entry, just like a regular dressage event.
Upon completion of your test, remain in the arena and the judge will discuss your performance with you.
The judge will give you the opportunity to re-ride some elements of the test, with their support and instruction.
Remember to take your marked test paper from the judge at the conclusion of your session.
You DO NOT need to bring a printed test paper for the judge - this is provided by the club.
Please keep in mind some basic rules at our Protocol days;
Use the same gear as you would at a regular dressage event; the EA equipment rules still apply.
Wear the clothes you would wear to a T-Shirt day; you don’t need a jacket or tie. It is not mandatory to braid the mane, but our judges appreciates all effort made for a neat, tidy and clean presentation.
We encourage riders to bring a set of earphones (with a standard 3.5mm plug) to connect to our CeeCoach system for ease of communication between judge and rider.
You are very welcome to have a support person film your ride and record instruction from the judge, for your own personal use only.
